Legendary Rock and Blues guitarist, most noted for seven years of playing with Rod Stewart, returns to our concert series with his band.

From tailgate to tuxedo parties, SmashBand is your premiere party choice. This is SmashBand’s twelfth season of summer concerts. It is always a party with this 10 piece band that plays the hits of the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s 80’s and 90’s.
Sunday, August 22 – 7:00 p.m. The St. Louis All Star Revue – St. Ferdinand Park by the Lake
The St. Louis All Star Revue is made up of some of St. Louis’ top singers and musicians. The Revue features: Ralph Butler from The Ralph Butler Band, Kittie Moeller from Fanfare, Charlie B from Wild Cool and Swingin’, Charlie B Band, Jim Manley on trumpet from Fantasy and Wild Cool and Swingin’, Steve Leslie from the Steve Leslie Band, Anita Rosamond from the Anita Rosamond Band, Velvet from the Fabulous Motown Revue (four singers) Dawn Weber on trumpet and vocals, Nathan Golomski on trumpet and Fanfare – backing up the entire act. This show brings together musicians and singers that have been on the St. Louis music scene for more than 25 years. It is a fun night of Motown, disco, Swing, rock and More.

The Boeing Employees Concert Band consist of 25 woodwind, brass and percussion musicians. The Band’s repertoire includes light classical, show tunes, popular, jazz, blues and marches.

Three Redneck Tenors Broadway Bound
Harmony, Hilarity, and Broadway’s Greatest Hits! 3 Redneck Tenors returns to our series with their latest show. In this installment, Billy Joe, Billy Bob, and Billy Billee have found their way to the Great White Way, with their trailer parked smack dab in the middle of Times Square. You’ll laugh at loud at their own special versions of hits from Phantom of the Opera, A Chorus Line, The Sound of Music, Annie, and many more!

“Forever Plaid”
Forever Plaid is a deliciously fun musical homage to the close harmony male quartets popularized in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Forever Plaid centers on four young, eager male singers killed in a car crash on February 9th 1964 on the way to their first big gig, and now miraculously revived for the posthumous chance to fulfill their dreams and perform the show that never was. It’s a not-to-be-missed, off-beat tribute to the love of music, entertainment and the power of following your dream.

“S’Wonderful”
A gorgeous new all-singing, all-dancing celebration of the music of George and Ira Gershwin! In this brand new setting of the most recognizable songs in the American songbook, audiences take a trip through 5 mini-musicals inspired by real events in the lives of the Gershwin brothers: New York in 1916, Paris in the 1930s, Hollywood in the 1940s, New Orleans in the 1950s, and somewhere in the world today. Like a Technicolor movie musical, S’Wonderful paints a picture of nostalgia through the genius of timeless song.

“Away In the Basement – A Church Basement Ladies Christmas”
The ladies of the basement are back! It’s 1959 and the day of the Sunday School Christmas Program. As the children rehearse up in the sanctuary, the ladies of the kitchen are finishing up the goodie bags and putting final touches on the Nativity pieces. Little do they know what surprises are in store for them as they are called upon to, once again, save the day.

Ed Asner, one of the most celebrated actors of our time, brings to life one of the most dynamic and powerful world leaders of the 20th century in a moving performance as President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Asner gives a stunning performance, delivering the Fireside Chats and enlightening audiences with FDR’s side of his controversial packing of the Supreme Court, his handling of the Great Depression, the lead up to WWII, and the war years. See the Presidency brought to life in this once-in-a-lifetime event!

“A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline”
One of the all-time legends of country music, Patsy Cline was as spunky as she was devoted to making a career in music. From working in a drug store at age 15 to her audition at the Grand Ole Opry and the hard-won fame that she earned over the course of the next decade, this is her story of a life in the limelight, family, and her untimely death. Featuring the hit songs “Crazy,” “Walkin’ After Midnight,” “Sweet Dreams,” “Faded Love,” and many more!

Jury’s Irish Cabaret featuring Tony Kenny
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Ireland’s longest-running show straight from the Jury Hotel in Dublin! After 10 sold-out nationwide tours in Ireland, the United States, and Canada, the Cabaret comes to our stage. Series-favorite and Ireland’s premier entertainer, Tony Kenny, will join Jury’s Irish Cabaret. Join us for an evening of Irish music, step-dancing, laughter, tears, and thunderous applause!

“The Miracle Worker – The Helen Keller Story” from Metropolitan Ensemble Theatre, Kansas City, MO
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of opening on Broadway, William Gibson’s Tony Award ® winning play comes to our series. Set in the South in the 1880s, The Miracle Worker tells the iconic story of real-life Medal of Freedom winner Helen Keller, who was both blind and deaf, and the extraordinary teacher who taught her to communicate with the world, Annie Sullivan. A stunning evening of theatre from one of Missouri’s hottest new theatre companies!

St. Louis Theatre Musicians Orchestra
Journey through the history of the American musical with the area’s top theatre musicians! This unique orchestra joins our series in cooperation with the American Federation of Musicians Local 2-197 to bring audiences the brightest moments in Broadway history from the inception of musicals to the current day.
